Christmas In July !!

My TDIPT group is allowing those of us who are willing, to offer Christmas items this month. Not all will be participating, but I know a few of us are.

Nostalgic Primitive Santa

I created this Santa without a pattern, and he is one of a kind. He's got a clay face and stands 14" tall.

Snowman Box

Made from my own pattern, this box measures 4.5" and the snowman stands 8 inches tall. He is adorned with bingo papers, vintage mica flakes, vintage tinsel, and is hand painted.

Thanks for stopping by! These pieces will be available tonite! Just click on the tdipt (to dwell in primitive thymes) link on the right, under first of the month offerings.

I'll also be offering two of my patterns this month on TDIPT Mercantile.

Primitive Clay Cloth Belsnickel Pattern

Festive Snow Folk

Here's a picture from a nice woman who made up a bunch of these for gifts last Christmas.. Didn't she do a fabulous job? I love how each one is unique.

Happy day!

More for Best in Show

Yesterday I decided to keep the ball rolling, so I pulled out one of my Halloween Gameboards that I worked so hard on last Fall. I used that great stencil that was circling around, but I also added hand-painted touches to make them one of a kind.

She is listed on the TDIPT group auction on Feebay! Here's a link: TDIPT EBAY LAUNCH

Also, I played with one of my patterns to get a new look out of it. Here is another example of my Spring Meadow Bunny Pattern. If you buy the pattern and are interested in exactly how I achieved this look, shoot me an email. But I do always say...play with the patterns to make your own look!

Have a happy day!

Caught your eye, didn't I? hehe

My very talented and diverse group, To Dwell in Primitive Thymes (TDIPT) is having a group auction launch this week on FEEBAY.

Please click on the banner to see all of the wonderful things that will be offered. The theme of this group auction is Best in Show, which translates into, put your best foot forward. Artists in the group are offering work that they feel is some of their best.

I will be offering this hand painted sign, and possibly something more in the next few days. Click on the photo to enlarge :)

Have a happy week! Thanks for stopping by!

Portraits and Such

I am guilty of neglecting my blog in leux of flowers!

So just a recap of my offerings still available:

On To Dwell In Primitive Thymes (TDIPT)You will find one of my originals. This is a nautical painting, on wood, in a folk art frame. I love this piece.

On Simply Primitives You will find a pretty portrait of Abigail, donning a tombstone frame. Simple and elegant.

You will also find a fun and folky Uncle Sam Portrait in a patriotic frame!

And now, off I go, outside to enjoy this beautiful morning.

Happy Days!
